Growing up in a world where you need to be different to be noticed has strongly influenced my photography. Inspired by the nature of infrared film and false colorisation, my photos act as a vehicle to express the way a subject so normal needs to be so unique to differ from the rest of the pack. I use either a Nikon FM2 with infrared film, or a Nikon D5100, enjoying mixed results from both.

Based in Australia.

What if. What a dangerous question. I hate myself for it every single time as the same ending of the question comes minute after minute, day after day, month after month, when will this end? I’m spinning in circles and plunging down down into this darkness, the never-ending black hole and no one can bring me out and I’m lost lost. Further and further from everyone and everything I know, as if my spirit was somehow launched into space outside of our galaxy and away away and I am every expanding right along with the universe, lost in the orbit of some distant-from-earth star that’s much much larger than anything ever encountered and no one knows, no one knows and no one understands and I’m so alone and so lost and I don’t know what to do, what do I do?

What if I’d turned around, what if I hadn’t said those words, what if I hadn’t walked away, what if I hadn’t given up. My life had become such a clusterfuck and I needed to be alone alone and everyone kept coming at me and I was screaming screaming inside my head but no one could hear me and no one could or would care. Fit inside the mold we’ve created for you, do what we say or else, or else you’ll fail. DON’T tell me what to do and DON’T tell me how to feel because you’re wrong wrong I don’t need to do what you say and stay out of my head and I can’t can’t keep this up and I’m falling apart and drowning in this massive black hole and going down down.

What if I’d done what I was supposed to, what if I’d continued along the path, what if I hadn’t broken the rules, what if you were still here and you’re not because you’re gone gone and there’s nothing anyone can do and I’m sorry sorry but now it’s time to go go so my soul and my spirit can be free from this mind this endless turning mind and I hope it goes out and away away from everything here and this is the end the end for me and I’m sorry but I have to go
